A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that thirst dictates fluid consumption. However, most of us don't need to worry at all during hot months of the year. If your hair, skin and eyes are not dry, you are probably getting enough. Any beverage without caffeine ir alcohol is nearly one to one with pure water. Most people wait until they feel thirsty to take fluid. We have been told this is wrong. It is myth. Since the dawn of human, we have survived quite well responding to the body's cues. We just need to be mindful that they are not all in our mouths and throats, but our whole selves.
